Posession of Cattle flesh, two arrested

  • A case under prevention of cow slaughter act has registered in Siddapura PS. On receving the information of selling cattle flesh against law, The PSI Vijayakumar arrested the accused persons Ashraf and K A Azeez who were having 50 Kgs of Cattle flesh in their posession and carrying them in a Jeep bearing No.KA-09-N-1783 with the intent to selling them. The PSI arrested the accused persons and seized the said Jeep.
Dowry Harassment Cases
  • A case of hurt and harassment for dowry has registered in Napoklu PS. One K A Fathima of Cheriyaparambu got married with one Abdul Khadar of Kottamudi Palur on 07/07/2007. As her husband Abdul Khadar sustained loss in his business, he and his family started to force the complainant Fathima to bring Rs.20000/- and 25 Savaran of Gold as dowry from her father's house. In this regard she was being harassed by her husband and his family physically and mentally. On 09/11/2008 her husband assaulted on her by the provocation of his Father K A Ali and mother Ameena. Fathima filed a complaint in court in this regard and the same has been registered in the Police Station as per the directions of honb'le court.

  • A case of security for good behaviour has booked in Madikeri Rural PS. At Makkandur village, the accused persons M Ponnappa, Prakash, Harish, Savithri and Kamalakshi were obstrcting the way of Shekar and Parvathi of same village in connection to Road dispute. In this regard a security case has booked against them.

At Makkandur village, the accused persons M Shekar, Parvathi and Jayanthi were often quarelling with their neighbours Ponnappa of same village in connection to Road dispute. In this regard a security case has booked against them.

Criminal tresspass and life threat Cases

  • A case of criminal tresspass and life threat has registered in Virajpet Rural PS. On 28/11/2008 at Kandangala village when the complainant V K Kusuma was at her home, the accused persons V K Raghu and V K Ramakrishna and Premalatha were came in a Jeep and wrongfully entered into the house with sickle and threatened her that they will kill her with the sickle owing to old enmity.

Jeep Stolen in Madikeri Town

  • A case of jeep theft has registered in Madikeri Town PS. Yesterday morning the complainant M P Vijaya of Kaggodlu village went to District hospital, Madikeri in his jeep bearing No. KA-12-M-5934 to see his relatives who admitted there. He parked the jeep beside the shed and went inside. When he returned back, he found his jeep was stolen by unknown culprits.

Security Cases for good behaviour registered

  • A security case for good behaviour has registered in Madikeri Rural PS today. At Hoskeri village near Siddapura, M V Harish and Y E Vima were often quarelling with each other regarding the property share. By this the peace of village is often being disturbed. In this regard a case for good behavour was registered against them.
  • A security case for good behaviour has registered in Madikeri Rural PS today. At Hoskeri village near Siddapura, one M S Vasaiah had dispute with his son M V Harish and daughter in law Y E Vima regarding the property share and were often quarelling each other . Cow Stolen at Masagodu village

  • A case of cattle theft has registered in Somawarpet PS. The complainant H B Dharmapala of Masagodu village was driven his cow for grazing in the field and in the evening he found some unknown cuprits stolen the cow. He suspects that the accused Ananda of Hanagallu village might have committed the theft.

Excise raid one arrested

  • A case of illegal selling of liquor has registered in Sunticoppa PS. On receiving the information of selling iquor without license, the PSI Thimmegowda conducted a raid on the line house of the accused Thangarajan at Nallur village. During the raid the police found the accused selling liquor with out any license and seized 31 quarter bottles of liquor. The police arrested the accused Thangarajan.

Hurt Cases:
A case of wrongful restraint and life threat has been registered in Somwarpet PS on 20-11-2008. On 15-11-2008 at Bettadalli village when the complainant B.R.Chandrakala @ Honnamma was going in a Jeep for coolie work, accused namely Venkatesh obstructed the way and abused her in filthy language and also in the evening he criminally entered into the front yard of her house and threatened her life owing to trivial issue.

A case of wrongful confinement and assault has been registered in Virajpet Rural PS on 20-11-2008. On 19-11-2008 a 6-00 pm at Hosakote village accused Chandran and Sunu wrongfully gained entry into the house of one Sajeevan and dragged him to their house and assaulted on him by hand and legs confining Sajeevan in a room owing to financial issue.

Road Accident - One dead

Road Accident Cases:

  • A fatal road accident case in which one died has registered in Sunticoppa PS. Today morning one Sheshappa of Uluguli village was returning from Bhuthanakad in his Maruthi van, on the way near Vijaya estate he found the accused 407 van driver Manjunath of Van bearing No.KA-12-7734 drove the same in rash and negligent manner and dashed against one motor cycle. The motor cycle rider and pilion rider were sustained serious injuries. Sheshappa shifted them to hospital in a private vehilce. On the way injured one Thomas breathed his last.

Crime Against SC/ST:

  • A case of crime against SC / ST has registered in Kutta PS. Yesterday morning the accused Porangada Bopanna took out the complainant Panieravara Bhoja for coolie work in his estate. While working, the accused asked him to come for work next day but Bhoja denied for some reasons. The accused abused him and his caste in filthy language and assaulted on him by hand

Theft Cases:

  • A case of theft has registered in Somawarpet PS. At Doddabbur village one H S Vinod Kumar of Nagarur village kept his coffee for dry in drying yard on 13/11/2008. Next day his supervisor while visiting the drying yard observed some unknown culprits were committed theft of 2 bags of coffee from the drying yard.

Attempt to Murder Cases:

  • A case of riot and attaempt to murder has registered in Kushalnagar PS today. Yesterday night when the complainant H R Srinivas of Hebbale was at his home, his brother Shekar called his brother and said that some unknown persons were carting their ginger which was loaded in a lorry bearing No.KL-13-R-5153 towards Kushalnagar Police Station and he asked him to come with him to enquire in this regard. Hearing this information, the complainant Srinivas went with one Lokeshwar in his bike. On the way to Kushalnagar, they found the lorry moving towards Kushalnagar near Hale Kudige and one Maruthi van behind the lorry. Srinivas passed the lorry and asked the lorry driver to stop. Suddenly the accused persons Pawan, Raju and other four were alighted from the lorry and assaulted on Srinivas, Lokesh and Shekar by iron rod, Sickle with the intent to kill them. But they slipped out from the place.

On 15/11/2008 when the complainant K B Girish of Perlampadi, Puttur was going towards Peraje in a motor bike bearing No.KA-21-H-9853 with his friend, the accused jeep driver of jeep bearing No.KA-21-M-430 drove the same in rash and negligent manner and dashed against the bike near Nidyamale turn. As the result the complainant and his friend sustained injuries.

  • A case of un natural death has reported in Somawarpet PS. On 17/11/2008 morning one Raju of Yedavare village committed suicide by hanging at his home as he disgusted in life.

Yesterday evening at private bus stand of Madikeri town, when the complainant H K Harsih, driver of Vijayalaxmi bus was stopped his bus for dropping the passengers, the accused Khalid driver of goods Auto Rikshaw bearing No.KA-12-9967 drove the same in rash and negligent manner and dashed the bus from back side. As the result Khalid sustained injuries himself.

  • A case of cow slaughter has reported in Siddapura PS today. On receiving the information of selling cattle flesh at Kondangeri village, the ASI B S Chandrashekar visited the place and found the accused K V Shihabof Kondangeri village in a Maruthi van bearing No.KA-12-M-2342 with 25 kgs of cattle flesh for selling purpose. On enquiry he revealed that he brought the cattle flesh from an abattoir in Hunasur. The police seized the flesh and arrested the accused Shihab.

  • A case of fatal road accident case has registered in Madikeri Rural PS. On 06/11/2008 afternoon at Makkandur village, when the complainant T P Bhemmaiah’s son was going somewhere in his bike bearing No.KA-12-J-1367, the accused Gangadhar, van driver of Police van KA-12-G-175 drove the same in rash and negligent manner and dashed against the motor cycle resulting which his son sustained injuries.

Crime Against Woman:

  • A case of crime against woman has registered in Madikeri Town PS. One Prathibha of Brahmin’s valley, Madikeri got married with the accused Rajkumar of Mangalapadi, Kasaragodu district four years before and they had one female baby. After some time, her husband and his family members were started torturing her physically and mentally and restricted her from talking with others. She was being forced to bring Rs.50,000/- as dowry from her home. Her husband went to Mumbai leaving her alone and started to live with another girl. In this regard she filed a complaint before the police.

  • A case of property loss has reported in Bhagamandala PS. At Ellukochi of Karike village the accused Kodi R Jagadish encroached the land of Aiyappa temple road and fenced it and damaged the tile roofs of the temple. Yesterday afternoon at Somawarpet town when the complainant M P Gopal of Thakeri village drawn Rs.60,000/- from Canara bank and went towards his Maruthi Van bearing No.KA-12-MA-5599, one unknown persons said him that blood is strewed on the back glass of his van. Hearing this Gopal kept the bag containing money inside the car and went to see the blood and he found that it was not blood. After washing that he came into the car and found his money bag stolen.

On 02/10/2008 night 11:30pm at Birunani village the complainant H S Anitha was waiting her husband who was on his way from Bangalore. At the same time she heared the door knocking sound and opened the door thinking that her husband has come but she found her husband's brother the accused H S vinu out side and he forcibly entered into the house and tried to outrage her modesty. When she shouted for help he assaulted on her by torch light and threatened that he will kill her if she made complaint with police in this regard.

In between 03-11-2008 and 08-11-2008 at 7-00 hrs at Gundurao Extension, Shanivarasanthe some unknown culprits gained entry into the house of the complainant U.R.Umesh (32) by removing the roof tiles and committed theft gold ornaments valued worth Rs. 23,000/-. In this case the police have taken up the further investigation.
  • A case of house breaking theft by night has been registered in Kushalnagar Police Station. In between 3-11-2008 and 4-11-2008 04-15 am at Shakthi Mobile Centre, Kushalnagar some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop by break open the shutters and committed theft of 8 nos. of new mobiles and 3 old mobile sets. In this regard a case has been registered on 8-10-2008 on the complaint of N.Niranjan, Owner of Shakthi Mobile Center, Kushalnagar.

On 28/09/2008 afternoon at Kadagadalu village, the accused persons Ralley Bidadppa, K Nachappa, K S Uthaiah, K M Kushal, K T Poonacha, K M Suresh, K M Lava and K B Ganapathi were wrongfully entered into the coffee estate of the complainant K B Aiyappa damaged the coffee, pepper and Silver oak plants by cutting them worth Rs.4,00,000/-

Theft Cases

  • A case of criminal tresspass and theft refferred by court has registered in Madikeri Rural PS. On 04/10/2008 at Puthya Peraje village, the accused persons P U Madhava, Kamala, P M Rajesh and P M Lohith were wrongfully entered into the house of the complainant P S Bharath by break open the door and have committed theft of one SBBL gun, and two gold chains of 25gms. And also they threatned the complainant's life.

  • A robbery case has reported in Somawarpet PS yesterday night. On 4/11/2008 afternoon when the complainant C K Abdul Latheef was going to mosque for Namaz, the accused persons Raghava and 18 others were assembled unlawfully and assaulted on him suddenly. Then they pillaged mobile handset and money from him. Also they threatened his life.

Riot Cases:

  • A case of riot has reported in Somawarpet PS. On 4/11/2008 afternoon when the complainant Raghavendra of Balagunda was at Madikeri Road of Somawarpet town, the accused persons Abdul Majeed and others were came in a jeep bearing No.KA-36-M-1140 and tried to assault on him by club and sickle.

A case of molestation and hurt has been registered in Kushalnagar PS. On 03-11-2008 at 13-50 hrs when the complainant Smt Nirmala Raj, Hostel Warden, B.S.S.Institute, Thyagaraja Road, Kushsalnagar was in her house, accused namely George of Kerala and Asha Joy of Siddapura came to the complainant’s house and abused her and dragged her saree with intent to outrage her modesty. The accused also threatened her life.

Missing Cases:
A case girl missing was reported in Shanivarasanthe PS. On 3-11-2008 complainant namely N.N.Kantharaju, S/o late Nanjaiah , aged 50 years, Niluvagilu village, Kodlipet appeared at the Police Station and lodged a complaint stating that his daughter by name N.K.Jamuna (18) left for College Hostel on 26-10-2008 at 9-30 am. But she did not go to college and since then she found missing.

  • A case of hurt has registered in Siddapura PS today. On 01/11/2008 when the complainant J K Appanna of Maldare village was sleeping at his home, the accused persons Ramu, Ramesh, Susheela and Janaki quarelled with him by rasing money issue and assaulted on him by sicke and wooden clubs resulting which he sustained injuries.
Theft Cases:
  • A case of property loss and theft has registered in Ponnampet PS. On 02/10/2008 the complainant Mallengada Belliappa appeared before the Station House Officer and lodged a complainant stating that on 31/10/2008 some unknown culprits removed the fence of his coffee estate and committed theft of coffee from coffee plants. He suspectes that the accused persons Billavara Mani and Chandregowda who are working at his brother Devaiah's estate might have committed the theft.
Gmabling Cases
  • A case of gambling has reported in Gonicoppa PS. On 02/11/2008 evening the PSI M Mahesh conducted a raid at Balaji village on receiving the information of gambling. During the raid the police found the accused persons P K Shaji, K A Santhosh, K Udaya, K V Paulose Baiju and K Vijaya gambling by using playing cards at the open place near the water tank of Chennangolly Paisari. The police have seized playing cards and Rs.1,800/- which used has bet while gambling arrested the accused persons.

  • A case under Copy Right Act has been registered in Virajpet Town Police Station. On credible information PSI Virajpet Town PS and staff have conducted a raid at the Music Box shop, TKT towers belonging to one Mohammed, aged 25 years, Arji village and seized various CDs like DVD, VCD, MP3, DVX which were stored in their shop illegally, by arresting accused namely Mohammed and K.M.Abbas. In this regard the police have taken up the further investigation in this case.

Cow Slaughter Cases

  • A case under cow slaughter Act has registered in Bhagamandala PS today. Today early morning time at 01:00am at Thannimani Village when the complainant Padmaiah of Thavoor village was going to his home with one Kalana Ravi found the accused persons Harikumar, Basheer, Monappa, Manju, Thangachan and Chanoya were drifting two bufaloes towards Karike with the intent to sell them to slaughterhouse at Kerala. Monappa, Manju, Thangachan and Chanoya were ran away from the place while Padmaiah and Ravi stopped and enquired them. Thereafter they produced Bashir, Harikumar alongwith two bufaloes and one Maruthi van KA-12-N-2553 before the Station House Officer of Bhgamandala PS.
Accident Cases:

  • A case of non fatal road accident has reported in Madikeri Rural PS. On 31/10/2008 when the complainant P Mani of Makkandur village was went to his home from Madikeri in a Auto Rikshaw bearing No.KA-12-235 along with his wife, the accused driver Kariappa suddenly moved the Rikshaw in rash and negligent manner while Mani was getting down from it. As a result he sustained injuries.
